Advantage of Graphitized petroleum coke GPC
a) High carbon: Fixed carbon of our GPC is higher than 98.5%
b) Low sulphur: Sulphur of high-level recarburizer can reach 0.01%-0.05%. sulphur of Graphitized petroleum coke can reach 0.01-0.03%, When manufacturers produce ductile iron , if there are sulfide residues in the castings, it will destroy the strength of the matrix, which will allow the casting to form slag holes and subcutaneous pore.
c) Low nitrogen : Too high nitrogen content is easy to bring in nitrogen porosity , which is a negative impact on castings. Nitrogen content is between 80PPM and 250PPM .it’s a perfect material for steel strand.
d) High absorptivity : The absorption rate can be as high as 95%. Comparing with anthracite or calcined petroleum coke, the absorption speed of our product is much faster.
