On April 30, 2021, our company was very honored to welcome a group of professors from University of Science and Technology of China to visit Xintan,We are honored to conduct product discussion with the professors about hopcalite catalyst produced by Xintan. In the meeting, Our topic focus on how hopcalite catalyst can be applied in the smoke treatment of steel industry and how to overcome sensitivity to sulfur. With the government attaching more importance to environmental protection, many steel facotories need to remove carbon monoxide from smoke.Smoke from steel mills includes all kinds of sulfides.but all the CO removal catalyst produced by different manufacturer features sensitivity to sulfide at present. Even world-famous enterprise Carus can’t solve this problem. This is a challenge for catalyst industry.
In response to these problems, the professors also gave relevant guidance and some feasible suggestions for our product development, aiming to improve the performance of the product to adapt to the constantly updated market demand. Our Hopcalite catalyst and research and development capabilities have been recognized by the professors, and finally we set up a long-term cooperation agreement. We aim to solve the Sulfur resistance of hopcalite catalyst. It’s a good example of industry-university-research cooperation. This professor team will conduct a series of testes on the smoke released from steel mills. It will help us accumulate abundant of test data.
Our Hopcalite catalyst is now widely used in all kinds of fire equipment, diving equipment, N2 production, mine rescue, refuge chamber and waste gas treatment, etc. Xintan has attached great importance to catalyst research and development. As the research further develops. We believe Xintan can solve the key issue of hopcalite.
We are confident that Xintan's Hopcalite catalyst (CO removal catalyst) can achieve higher quality and higher efficiency, so that the product can adapt to different market needs and be recognized by more customers.
